The Shadow King: Backstory
Do you remember those strange noises you hear at night, as soon as you turn out the lights? What about those monsters you strongly believed lived under your bed when you were little? Or how about those odd shadows that start to play when you wake up from a nightmare? They are all controlled by the Shadow King. His true name has been long forgotten; he, himself, can no longer remember it. The Shadow King lives alone in a different realm, where he controls the shadows and everything else that keeps you up at night. With very little experience with people, he can have a hard time getting along with others. Considering he is an ageless nocturnal being that likes to haunt other people's sleep, it's not a huge surprise. He is easily recognizable by the permanent scowl he wears daily, and a relentless bad attitude that is legendary. If you ever encounter the Shadow King, be sure to quickly run in the opposite direction.
